Cross Country: Rudman, FWB girls win county meet

NICEVILLE — Not even a slight detour and the hills of Eglin Golf Course could sidetrack Fort Walton Beach’s Emma Rudman from a second straight Okaloosa County title Saturday morning.

Living up to the pedigree of her Daily News Cross Country and Track Athlete of the Year titles, the four-time state medalist barely broke a sweat en route to a runaway first-place finish.
